Our senior management team have worked together in client-driven projects with major corporations for over twenty years. Paul established RPR in 2011 after many years in senior management in Honda. Richard is one of a number of experienced consultants who has recently worked on projects with RPR. Experience with Honda of using lean techniques and collaborative working resulted in delivering successful projects as judged by the Honda business and peers in governments and academic organisations.

Paul Roberts - Director

As a professional engineer and senior manager, Paul has over 20 years of Client Senior Management experience in both commercial and industrial developments with associated operational responsibilities for delivery. He has extensive experience in developing best construction and engineering practice internationally and has been recognized by the DTI for exemplary project management.

Paul is a specialist in strategic and delivery methods for multi-million pound construction and engineering developments in diverse fields including manufacturing, renewable energy and waste to energy, with practical understanding of lean processes and cost and programme control.

Richard Bayfield - Project Executive

Richard has been an Independent Consultant since 1991, with over 30 years construction and development experience. He is currently working at board level with several high profile clients helping to deliver major capital projects and development programmes.

Specialist areas include Client Leadership, Project/Business Strategy, Innovation, Dispute Avoidance and Conflict Resolution. Richard is a former Chairman of the Society of Construction Law and is a member of the adjudication panel for London 2012.

Simon Williams - Senior Engineering Manager

Simon is a professional engineer with 20 years Facilities Management experience within industry. He has extensive management experience in leading and developing Facilities and Engineering teams whilst implementing best practice through strategic planning.

Simon has specialist knowledge and experience in improving cost constitution through process and facility development, evolution and implementation of maintenance strategies, investment verification and cost benefit analysis, safety, environmental and energy audits, sound and vibration control and emission abatement systems.

Julian Bliss - Senior Environmental Project Manager

Julian has over 20 years experience in facilities, property, projects and environment at a senior level within a major global blue chip manufacturing organisation. His professional background sits at the interface between the scientist and the engineer, proving invaluable in turning complex challenges into innovative solutions.

Specialist areas include development and implementation of environmental management and improvement strategies, planning permission and environmental impact.

He has been part of the construction project team for a major automotive development that was recognised by the DTI for exemplary project management, and lead a corporate strategy to develop large scale embedded renewable energy generation systems, with recent success in gaining planning approval for a 5MW waste wood gasification plant.

Howard Jones - Senior Electrical Engineering Project Manager

Howard is a Professional Chartered Electrical Engineer with more than 30 years experience within a range of heavy and light engineering covering basic electrical engineering, design, project management and contract administration within the minerals, power generation, and manufacturing industries. A background enhanced with substantial site engineering and commissioning experience of major capital equipment projects, both in the UK and overseas. Previous employment includes Chief Engineer for the largest Power and Desalination Plant in the world (Saudi Arabia), and Senior Engineer for Honda of the UK Manufacturing.
